1. How to use a heat value flowmeter? The correct use of a heat value flowmeter mainly includes four key steps: installation, parameter setting, operation monitoring, and maintenance. 1. Installation specifications Installation location selection • Ensure that there are sufficient straight pipe sections before and after the measurement point (with a diameter of 10D in the front and 5D in the back, where D is the pipe diameter) • Avoid turbulence sources such as pipe bends, valves, pumps, etc. • The insertion depth of the sensor should reach the centerline of the pipeline. 2 Installation method • Insertion type: suitable for pipelines above DN80, requiring the use of specialized drilling tools during installation • Pipe section type: direct flange connection, suitable for situations where small pipe diameters or differences require full pipe section measurement
2. Parameter setting slide 1 Medium parameter setting • Input the component concentration of the measured medium (especially mixed gas) • Set the temperature and pressure values under the current operating conditions • Select the corresponding calibration curve based on the characteristics of the medium. 2 Range setting • Range should cover 1.25-1.5 times the normal flow rate • Small flow cutoff value is usually set to 2-5% of the full range
III. Operation monitoring • Regularly check zero drift, which should be within ± 1% of the full range • Monitoring measurement value fluctuations, abnormal fluctuations usually indicate sensor contamination or medium state changes • Comparing temperature compensation effect, when the medium temperature changes by more than ± 10 ℃, it should be recalibrated with caution
IV. Maintenance points • Online calib
